Black Wire Kennel is a privately run kennel, operated by Ken and Marcia Niepokoy from their home in Ringwood, NJ.  Madison is our first versatile hunting dog, prior to Madison we owned and hunted Golden Retrievers for more than 20 years.  Madison lives in the house and spends most of her days lounging poolside waiting for hunting season or a training clinic.  Our backyard is fenced providing about ½ acre of free exercise. We are surrounded by woods; Madison is exercised frequently running far in front of the ATV to a secluded lake to search for ducks or practice her water skills. The round trip is 14 miles ending with a dip in the pool. Our primary reason for breeding was our desire to have another exceptional companion and hunting dog like Madison.  We did some exhaustive research and felt that Grizzlie from Montana had traits similar to Madison and would enhance the breed.  We miss our Goldens but are fortunate to have Madison and soon one of her puppies.
